Orientation Interview – Dr Nathan Wise (HINQ120)

Ben and Kim were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to sit down and talk with Dr Nathan Wise, an Associate Professor in the public and applied history sector at UNE.

Dr Wise’s primary field includes historical theory and practice, and he is the Unit Coordinator of HINQ100 – What is History? This unit deals with the foundations of history in the ancient world and the development of medieval and early modern concepts of history. It is a fascinating fundamental unit and more information can be found here.

This interview is part of a series of Orientation Interviews, designed to make first-year students feel more at ease and reassured about what they can expect at UNE.
