Orientation Interview – Professor Adrian Walsh
Ben and Kim were lucky enough to be able to sit down with Professor Adrian Walsh from the Faculty of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Education.
Professor Walsh works predominantly in political philosophy and has a keen passion for philosophical methodology and political questions. Professor Walsh has authored several books and papers and is currently authoring a new book on water and distributive justice.
Professor Walsh was only too happy to elaborate on some of these interests and also informed us how beneficial a philosophical degree can be. He assured us that while he is currently on study leave, the teaching staff of the units in his course were incredibly engaging and talented at bringing knowledge of philosophical abilities to the forefront.
This interview is part of a series of Orientation Interviews, designed to make first-year students feel more at ease and reassured about what they can expect at UNE. Starting out at University can be highly overwhelming and we want to make sure that we do everything we can to ensure that students feel as comfortable as possible.
