Orientation Interviews: Professor Gabriel Donleavy
Ben and Kim were joined by Professor Gabriel Donleavy as part of Orientation Week to discuss his work as a Professor of Accounting in the UNE Business School.
Professor Donleavy teaches AFM103: Introductory Finance, a unit which provides students with key practical skills in both personal and business finance.
As part of this unit, students develop an understanding of financial skills such as budgeting, debt management, risk versus returns and investment versus speculation. The unit equips students with an understanding of financial concepts and their application in both a personal and a business context.
This is a very useful unit for many students in many different areas, so check out more information about it here.
