Hadi Hussein on Leading Roles and “Black Comedy”
Welcome to Behind the Curtain with Nick Troon the show where we sit down with theatre practitioners and get a backstage look at the creative process.
On today’s episode we sit down with Hadi Hussein, the Armidale Drama and Musical Society’s (ADMS) 2023 Dennis Wright award winner and lead actor in the upcoming season of Black Comedy.
This is the first time Hadi has played the lead in an ADMS production, so we talk about the experience going from ensemble to lead, his experience in this show, and larger conversations about recognition in the arts world.
Black Comedy, directed by Jono McAteer, is running at the Armidale Playhouse from October 20th to 28th.
Tickets are on sale now, so for more details visit adms.org.au.
